About the business and the role

We are VERY excited to be opening in Brisbane. We have secured THREE locations, with more in the pipeline. Our first location will open in late August, with #2 and #3 before the end of 2018.

RASHAYS is an exciting place to work. In the past 6 years, we have opened over 20 locations and our future expansion plans are stronger than ever.

We are currently recruiting front of house management for our first Restaurant at Toombul - c.140 seats full-service and licensed.

 

Job tasks and responsibilities

Our Restaurant Managers are passionate LEADERS. Running the Restaurant like it's your own business, you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant.
  • Managing staff and management and providing them with coaching and direction.
  • Achieving set KPIs with financial and service related targets
  • Recruiting, training and motivating staff.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to managers and staff and assess performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of quality, service and cleanliness.
  • Consistently monitor product and labor costs to remain within goals.
  • Solicit guest feedback to understand the needs and wants of customers.
  • Follow policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security.

Skills and experience

  • Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing.
  • Organised and customer focused.
  • Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.
  • Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.
  • Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems.
  • Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff and customers.

For our senior management, training will be conducted in our Sydney Restaurants for 3-4 weeks. Flexibility during this period will be important, and a training plan will be developed on a one-on-one basis to suit your commitments. Travel, accommodation and living away from home expenses will be fully covered.
