The BRT is a multi-facet tavern incorporating the Phoenix Bar, Panama Jacks Steak and Rib House, sports bar with TAB, The Gold Rush Pokies Room, Harry Browns Bottle Shop plus 3 Bottlemart Bottle Shops in the local area.
The Role:
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the tavern, whilst playing a key role in the areas of gaming, TAB and food and beverage. Your role will involve overseeing service, managing team members on duty, closing and opening of the venue, maintaining compliance and responsible gaming and service of alcohol practices.
Role Requirements:
• Current RMLV
• Current Approved Managers Licence
• First Aid Certificate
• 2-3 years in a similar role, with experience in Gaming and TAB including EGM Clearance and reconciliation.
• A management approach to lead by example and the ability to motivate and develop a young team
• Good knowledge of bar and restaurant operations, service styles and expectations.
• This is a hands-on role and needs a service driven manager
• Prepared to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
