Bites By D is a Dessert Cafe located in Mt Hawthorn, well known for its incredible dessert offering. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team of talented bakers who is available for an immediate start. The successful candidate will:

• Have a minimum of 2 to 4 years experience
• Hold relevant qualifications, with a minimum Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent.
• Can work independently and also train others when and where required.
• Has excellent communication skills
• Knows quality ingredients, is conscious of wastage, cost of goods and maintaining a high quality in all products
• Takes control of baking supplies and ordering
• Has an eye for detail and finesse and an understanding of flavour
• Who is open to modern cake designs and visual presentation
• Who is efficient, experienced and confident in their skills
• Who has a broad knowledge across all areas of patisserie including choux, macarons, cakes, decorating including chocolate work, yeast products, confectionary and more
• Who adheres to food safety guidelines and maintains a high standard of hygiene in the kitchen
• Is able to work weekends and must be eligible to work in Australia

An annual salary package will be offered to the successful candidate.
