Tangalooma Island Resort is located 75 minutes off the coast of Brisbane on Moreton Island and is one of the most respected Island Resorts on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia.
We currently have a great opportunity for a Japanese Guest Liaison to join our team.
As part of the Guest Services team, this varied role of Guest Liaison involves:
- Being the first point of contact for our Japanese guests, assisting them with their itinerary, translating for them at Resort outlets and tours/activities
- conducting famils - assisting Japanese VIP's during familiarisation tours of the resort
- Escorting guests to their rooms
- Booking and Selling tours
- Assisting with conducting the various entertainment and activities we offer to our guests
- associated administration.
To be successful in this dynamic role :
- Must be Fluent in both Japanese and English
- Display the necessary maturity,
- Have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in similar role
- customer service skills second to none,
- be highly energetic
- possess the ability to build an instant rapport with people from all walks of life.
A current valid drivers licence would be advantageous.
This is a live in position on Moreton Island. Tangalooma Island Resort has staff accommodation packages available. Cost applies which includes single live - in accommodation with all meals and electricity.
