The Venue:
This venue is part of a growing hospitality group and passionate about great food and fresh local produce. This hospitality group is seeking a talented head chef who is willing to take control over the kitchen and make a name for themselves and the venue. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Group Culinary Director, you will enjoy the direction and mentor ship from some of the best fine dining chefs in the city!
The Role:
As the Sous Chef you will be leading a good size team professional chefs who share the same passion in food and creativity. You will also be responsible for achieving and exceed labour and food costs while working with local producers, and really having a creative input in the overall success of the venue
You:
- Quality A la Carte restaurant background, within a high volume venues.
- Have good operational knowledge, OHS, financial and organisation.
- Exceptional management skills and the ability to build a strong team and culture.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed labour and food budgets.
- Willingness to grow and development within a growing hospitality group.
- Great communication skills and attention to details.
- The ability to take full accountability and ownership of their role.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- A passion for new challenges and new adventure.
