We are seeking qualified and experienced Sous chefs who has extensive exposure to cooking and leading teams within a fast pace kitchen environment. You will join our production team based in Brisbane. As an experience Sous chef in the production team you will work alongside industry experts delivering the highest levels of quality and culinary excellence to our discerning airline customers.
As a successful candidate you will have:
- Fully trained or qualified Chef + minimum 4yrs on the job after Apprenticeship (6 years total)
- completed a Certificate 3 in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or similar
- Has experience leading a team in planning and directing food preparation for a kitchen
- excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- extensive HACCAP and food safety knowledge
- exposure to inflight catering or large-scale banqueting operations (would be advantageous)
- a passion for delivery of excellence
- the ability to work a flexible shift patterns (including am & pm shifts and public holidays)
