Red Square Cafe is based in the Cambridge Centre with a strong sense of community and a loyal customer base. Through hard work and consistent performance we have developed a reputation for great coffee, quality food and friendly service which sees the cafe very busy at times. We are open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch.

You will be working with new, high quality equipment and will also be part of a fun team in an excellent working environment.  If you are positive, upbeat, clean, tidy, reliable and your are prepared to learn you have some of the key attributes that we are looking for.

You will be responsible for performing the following duties:

• Supervision and training of employees
• Maintaining stock levels through monitoring of wastage and effective ordering
• Some administrative duties including collecting invoices
• Produce a high quality coffee at all times
• Serve all customers in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Handle all monies and payments according to procedure and guidelines.
• Customer service
• Clearing and cleaning tables
• Reconcile tills at the end of the day

You will need to have:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety
• Outstanding leadership skills
• Minimum 3 years Management experience working in a busy quick service restaurant, high volume venue or cafe environment
