Build strong relationships with industry partners and clients and maximise sales opportunities Grow portfolio of major events, venue catering, and retail leasing About You – Essential Requirements A strong background in B2B sales and commercial business experience A well-documented portfolio of growing business revenue through industry relationships Have a solid reputation as a trustworthy and professional partner to clients Have a demonstrated history of applying strategies to win new tenders and contracts

 

 

Skills and experience

  • At least 5 years experience in a hospitality managerial role (eg: assistant operations manager or manager). Ideally have owned or operated a restaurant and/or cafe in the past 5 years.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceptional customer service skills, leadership, management and mentorship of staff, creating an inclusive working culture, and a strong sense of accountability
  • Excellent and diverse food and beverage background
  • Proven track record in growing sales
  • Ability to problem solve quickly, be flexible and nimble in the development of solutions, and have worked in a fast-paced environment
  • Hard-working, driven and committed - this is a 8:00am to 5:00pm role.
  • Strong business and financial acumen - demonstrated ability to manage a P&L, monthly reporting and presentations
  • Ability to be analytical, detail-oriented and communicate exceptionally well within all levels inside and outside of the hospitality vertical
  • Diligence in food safety, health and compliance
  • Experience in implementing operations, processes and structure in hospitality venues
