Peninsula Hot Springs (PHS) is a multi-award winning and iconic tourism and spa destination on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. We are currently seeking a dedicated and self-motivated applicant to join our professional and friendly food services team in the role of Kitchen Hand. Working in a modest and fast-paced kitchen, you will report to the Head Chef and will be responsible for assisting in the back of house kitchen to ensure:
- All operating equipment is washed and appropriately cleaned and sanitized;
- Areas are kept clean and tidy at all times;
- Assist in the preparation of food and use correct food handling techniques;
- Count, sort and prepare operating equipment as required.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and attributes:
- Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Demonstrated initiative with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work together as part of a dynamic team
- Positive attitude, reliable and trustworthy
- Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
This is a casual position and applicants must be available to work both weekdays and weekends, including day and evening shifts.
