Located in Palmer st, in the heart of Townsville, Rydges Southbank Townsville offers business and leisure travellers alike a premium location in the Central Business District close to shopping, dining and entertainment. Our boutique Townsville accommodation is the gate to Magnetic Island and the Great Barrier Reef. Rydges Southbank Townsville is currently seeking, the talents of an experienced Hospitality professional to join our Front Office Team, as Guest Services Agent, in a casual capacity.
As Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for anticipating and meeting the needs of the hotel guests by providing excellent customer service. As this is a sole position, being able to work under pressure and make quick informed decisions without disrupting the customer experience is a must
As our hotel operates 24/7 and the shifts can and will include weekends, mornings, afternoons & evenings
>Applicant should have initiative and be able to work independently
>Be able to deliver a high level of customer service and have an excellent phone manner
>Knowledge & experience of Opera or similar Hotel reservations system a must
>Experience or exposure within hotel/resort operations a must.
>Be able to work under pressure.
>Well presented with a high level of written & verbal communications.
>Previous experience within Hotel Front Of House operations.
>Knowledge & experience of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook
