Fortitude Valley's most celebrated lifestyle destination - the James Street Precinct - is being elevated even further with the opening of The Calile Hotel in September
Spanning seven levels, the urban resort is a natural expression of this sophisticated city-fringe destination. It offers 175 rooms including 11 suites – all generously sized and open to natural light and city vistas. These rooms rise above a vibrant podium level with poolside dining and serviced cabanas.
The resort also comprises a day spa, function spaces, a Grand Ballroom for over 500 guests and a fitness centre, as well as two additional bar and restaurant venues and 15 retail tenancies. Directly inspired by its subtropical locale, The Calile will bring a refreshing edge to the Brisbane hotel landscape.
About the Role
The Calile have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and career driven team player to join their team as Reservations Agent. In order to be successful in the position the main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- First point of contact for reservations
- Actively contribute to the attainment of hotel objectives and targets
- Managing business relationships with travel agents, corporate and leisure business
- Handling a high volume of reservations with superb accuracy
About You
- With previous experience in a hotel Reservations role (essential), you will enrich the creation of ultimate memorable moments for the guests
- Results driven mindset based on excellent time management skills
- You are able to work independently and have the ability to run a busy reservations system
- Your grooming and personal presentation sets the leading model
- Have a passion to sell every last room in a competitive environment
