We are currently looking to build our kitchen team in preparation for opening a new venue in Red Hill in November.  The kitchen teams will have the opportunity to work across both venues if they choose . 

We are recruiting now through to October , training a team in the Polperro kitchen under the close guidance of Michael Demagistris  to then have some move across to the new Longtable space when we open in November . 

We are looking for CDP ,  Commi Chefs  and Apprenice chefs - Full time, Red Hill, Winery Restaurant

Work in an energetic team lead by Executive Chef Michael Demagistris (East Bar & Dining, Alinea, Chicago, and Noma, Copenhagen). Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula location.

Be part of this Mornington Peninsula vineyard venue which includes a cellar door, bistro, luxury accommodation and growing winery. It is an exciting time to join our team, as we continue to expand the Polperro group with the recent purchase of the iconic “Longtable restaurant ”in Red Hill.This space will be transformed into a contemporary all day dining venue and late night cocktail and wine bar under the creative direction of Hecker Guthrie .

Our kitchen respects and highlights regional and estate grown produce, whilst fostering the ethos of sharing and kinship. We work with seasonal produce, where possible from our kitchen garden, we also support local businesses and have contract growers who are working with us towards our goals of zero waste. We showcase fresh and seasonal flavours, with a focus on creating dishes that complement the Polperro and Even Keel wines.

  • 2+ years Experience as a chef level in a similar quality establishment .

  • Legally able to work in Australia
