Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesCater Care are seeking Catering Assistants for Part Time work at an Aged Care facility in Blacktown
The key to our success is our people. Your role in this environment is to provide friendly, attentive and efficient service to our valued residents through the cooking of hot breakfast, morning tea and lunch and food service.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Exceptional customer service, serving food to elderly residents
- Responsible for delivery of special diets and diet requirements including allergies/intolerances, texture modified purees and supplements
- Setting up and clearing dining room, food trays and tea trolley
- General cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas including washing dishes, cleaning floors and stock replenishment
- Refilling water jugs in resident rooms
- Compliance to food safety hygiene and food handling/preparation procedures
Key Attributes required:
- Good customer service, strong communication skills
- Previous experience within Aged Care food service or working with vulnerable persons
- Food handling experience
- Knowledge and compliance towards food safety
- Ability to work as part of a team, reliability and hard working
Vacancy 1: Monday, Thursday and Friday 3.30pm - 7.00pm
