Modo Mio, meaning ‘My Way’, offers authentic Italian cuisine that celebrates the heart of Italian culture, where food and family are central to everyday life.
We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Full Time Demi Chef to join our Modo Mio Restaurant. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine you will be responsible for running your own section and ensuring the food stays true to the Modo Mio way.
Your Experience
- Previous experiencer Demi Chef or several years’ experience as a Commis Chef in a fast paced environment
- Passion for cooking and Italian cuisine
- Possess effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- The ability to follow direction and adhere to recipes and procedures as outlined by the Senior Chefs
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Understanding and practice of HACCP
- Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
