The Role

You will assist in managing a prestigious High Rise Apartment/ Commercial Building in East Perth.
This position is a casual with the opportunity to be a part/ full time salaried role, with your responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Concierge/ Front Desk Duties.
  • Report Writing.
  • Liaising and Organising Contractors for Repair and Maintenance Works.
  • Interacting and Assisting with Residents, Tenants and Public Queries.
  • Overall Building Security.
  • Overall Building Management.
  • The Ability to be On Call to respond to Emergencies.
  • Work under Direct Instruction of the Building Manager and assist with being 2IC when required.
  • All Other Works as Assigned by Building Manager.
  • To provide the highest professional service to all users of the building, attending to high level care of the building facilities and systems.
  • To ensure the reception area is professionally maintained, including greeting all building users, and assisting with any enquiries they may have.
  • To provide inductions for new tenants to the building.
  • To assist with resolving any building management issues, including cleaning and security services.
  • To assist the Building Manager in identifying any risk areas and assist with improvement initiatives.
  • To ensure that a safe workplace is maintained and monitored.
  • To supervise access of all service contractors and administer their site works.
  • Provision of regular patrols of external common areas, checking areas of access are secured as required.
  • To conduct regular building inspections of common/ public areas, as to ensure they comply with required standards.
  • To carry out such other duties that may be required from time to time.

Selection Criteria

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Package.
  • Proficiency with Written and Spoken English.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Prior Hospitality or Building Concierge experience will be favourable.
  • Candidate must have a valid Security License (Certificate II – Security Operations & Crowd Control).
  • Experience in Concierge/ Security desirable but not essential.
  • A positive, committed and can-do attitude desirable.
  • Ability to listen and carry out instructions.
  • Driving License & vehicle ownership desirable but not essential.
  • Only candidates that has the right to work in Australia needs to apply.
  • Ability to work flexible hours such as, Weekdays (Mondays to Thursdays): 3pm to 7pm (will be having one day off between these days)
  • Weekends (Fridays to Sundays & Public Holidays): 3pm to 12midnight.
