A fantastic opportunity exists for a head chef with a minimum of two years experience as a head chef. Qualified you will lead our team in a permanent fulltime capacity to continue the consistently high quality food. Focusing on breakfast, lunch and functions, to be successful in this role you will have:-
- Experience in a high volume, high quality business
- Strong culinary flair and presentation
- Proven experience in running a cost effective and efficient kitchen
- Staff training and recruiting
- Must have a hands on attitude
- Demonstrated leadership skills and proven experience in managing people in kitchen environments
- Offer exceptional customer service
- Implement safety and overall polices for kitchen operations
- Design interesting and exciting menus in a modern Australian cuisine style
- Design and deliver interesting cuisine for functions, catering and special events
- Responsible for stock control and ordering, cost control and budgeting for the kitchen
- You must have excellent communication skills, an enthusiastic, engaging personality with a sense of humour and a can do attitude
