Copo Café is local favourite in Drummoyneknown for its authentic South American cuisine and friendly customer service. We are currently looking for a quali?ed and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Set up workstations in the morning and before lunch time with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) and to freeze.
Cook food in various utensils or grillers as it is described on the Copo’s recipe
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served, according to the description on Copo’s recipe
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen, cleaning the kitchen after every shift
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly at the right temperature
Check quality of ingredients and communicate to Copo’s owner when it is not up to standard.
Essential Work Experience and Skills
Able to work in a team
Experience in Breakfast, Lunch and Diner
Knowledge of South American cuisine
Two years experience within related ?eld
Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
Ability to follow all hygiene procedures
