Pippi's Cafe - Cafe Service Assistant (Casual)
$25.99 (Adult rate)
Located in the new Warrigal Shell Cove retirement facility and operated by the Flagstaff Group, Pippi’s Café provides light meals & refreshments to facility residents & staff as well as to the general public.
We are looking for a café service assistant who is an all-rounder. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in customer service, barista skills, food handling and presentation and cash handling experience. You will take great pride in your work and strive for excellence in service to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for all our customers. A passion for working in the food service industry and an ability to work in a team environment is a must. If you are an energetic person with high level customer service skills, then we would love to hear from you.
We need someone who:
- Is eligible to immediately work in Australia without sponsorship;
- Barista skills;
- Has proven experience working in a fast paced hospitality environment;
- Is able to provide quick, friendly and efficient food and beverage service while maintaining high standards for all product preparation;
- Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) register system and handling cash (e.g. receiving money, calculating & returning change, cash register balancing);
- Able & willing to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and/or Public Holidays;
- Has a current NSW Driver’s Licence
