We are currently searching for a reliable and passionate Chef to join our 195 bed Aged Care Facility in Fullarton.

We are seeking an enthusiastic applicant to work in our Main Kitchen team on a Part Time  basis with opportunities to increase hours as required and to help with the preparation and delivery of quality meals to our Residents.

In order to be successful for this role you will be well experienced with food preparation to Aged Care residents, possess a strong commitment to food safety and will demonstrate a working knowledge of aged care dietary needs.

The successful candidate will also possess a valid police check/certificate

Requirements:

• Must have current Police Check.
• Trade qualifications
• Must have knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety and Infection Control Programs in Aged Care.
• Must have general cooking and food preparation experience in Aged Care
• Must have knowledge surrounding modified diets and texture modification
• Must have previous experience in bulk cooking
• Ability to take direction & work as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Can-do attitude
• Comply with special duties as directed by the Head Chef  
• May be required to work over 7 days per week.
• Must be available for immediate start.
• Must have ability to increase hours as required to cover for Leave
