POSITION: Senior Chefs

Billykart West End is a 90+ seat casual bar/restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Located in Brisbane's West End. The kitchen over seen by Chef and Owner Ben O'Donoghue focuses on new emerging trends in food production that are driven by health, sustainability, freshness of produce and flavour key to this is producing specific items in house, from fermentation in food and beverage, through to preserves pastries and sauces. We will also use our existing relationship with suppliers to procure the best ingredients available.

Billykart West End is now seeking highly motivated, experienced and professional Senior Chefs to be part of the kitchen team. If you have industry experience, passion for food and want to work locally then this is an excellent opportunity for you.  

These position is a full time salaried position with night and weekend work being a requirement of this role.

In this role, your key duties will include:

· Hands on leadership and motivating a team

· Managing costs and stock control

· Communicating and working closely with the executive & head chef and management team

· Menu planning and preparation

· Minimising wastage

· Ensuring the efficient operation of the kitchen and running services

The successful applicant will:

· Be fully trade qualified, with certificates to support this

· Have great communication skills
