About Monkey Mia
Monkey Mia is located midway up the Western Australian Coastline in the heart of Shark Bay World Heritage Area. The resort is the only accommodation at Monkey Mia.
About the role
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and talented all rounder to join our team as a Handyperson / Maintenance Officer. This position requires you to live on site.
Duties & responsibilities
- To provide management with assistance in maintaining the park grounds, facilities and machinery.
- Assisting customers where required.
- Ensuring the overall appearance and presentation of the resort grounds and gardens are to the highest possible standard.
- Ensuring that the daily clean duties are performed to the high standard as detailed.
- Complete all scheduled maintenance tasks in a professional and timely manor
Skills & experience
The successful candidate will have strong initiative, the ability to work under pressure, good presentation, and a commitment to providing great customer service. Experience in a grounds/maintenance position in a busy hospitality environment is essential and a trade qualification will be highly regarded.

Minimum qualifications:
- Certificate III in Horticulture - Parks and Gardens
- Open Manual Driver's Licence
- HR Licence – or willing to obtain
Highly regarded:
- Cert II First Aid
- Forklift Licence
