  • This is a hands-on position managing the day-to-day operations of the front desk
  • The role requires high energy and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment
  • Strong and confident communication skills are required
  • Ensuring great guest experience and great service within all areas of the venue will be reflected in positive social media reviews and glowing guest feedback
  • Driving rooms occupancy and restaurant covers and hitting front desk labour targets
  • Effective operations management, with an eye for improving systems and finding cost efficiencies
  • Staff training and mentoring
  • Strong understanding and management of the RMS (Our Property Management System or other PMS) and ResDiary (or similar restaurant booking systems).

Reservations experience and exceptional customer service are a must for this exciting role in our growing brand.

About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations across the Bannisters Pavilion and excel in customer service, ensuring the best systems are in place to keep all aspects of the venue running optimally and smoothly. You will be the ‘Face’ of the hotel at arrivals and departures and aim to exceed the guest’s expectation at all times. Your positive manner with internal and external guests and demeanour will set the benchmark for your team to follow. You have accountability for driving hotel occupancy where you can and for achieving the front desk profit targets while overseeing your team. You will need to communicate effectively between both hotels and all outlets to ensure a seamless guest experience between properties and smooth running of the operations.


Skills and experience
Ideally you will have at least 3 years management experience within a similar environment with strong team management experience and must excel at customer service.


You will have a thorough understanding of hotel operations and good financial management.
