Due to growth and promotion, Meriton Suites are currently seeking to appoint a dynamic, forward thinking experienced Hotel Front Office, Manager on Duty to join our Sydney team. There has never been a better time and opportunity to be part of Australia's largest hotel accommodation brand. 

The right candidate will be responsible for creating memorable moments for our guests, from first and last impressions, delivering exceptional customer service and providing the WOW factor that is Meriton Suites. You must have a proven current history working in a 4/5 star hotel with a minimum 12 months in the role of Manager on Duty. The right candidate will display a strong sense of commitment to customer service, team camaraderie, impeccable attention to detail and the compassion to deliver our Meriton values.

Your key responsibilities:

• Greeting and welcoming our guests
• Supervision and training of staff
• Check in and check out of guests
• Complaint handling and resolution
• Ensuring daily front desk tasks are actioned and completed
• Attend to guest enquiries, requests and follow up if required

Your attributes:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Genuine passion for the hospitality industry
• Working knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Opera, Fidelio, Guest Centrix
• Be immaculately presented
• Focused and passionate about guest service
• Well organized, with attention to detail
• Team oriented and able to work under pressure
