Gloria Jeans Drive-thru in North Dandenong has a vacancy for a casual experienced Barista / Maître'D to join our team! You will be responsible for serving handcrafted and high-quality espresso beverages along with exceptional customer service! 

In this role, your key responsibilities will be:

• Present handcrafted, quality beverages to every guest following the Gloria Jeans Standards
• Taking orders either in-store or the wireless headset via drive-thru
• Handle cash at the register when taking orders and giving change.
• Manage the pastry cabinet through effective day parting, stock rotation and clear labeling 
• Preparation of food, abiding by the National Food & Safety Standards
• Daily shift priorities as set by the Manager/Franchise Partner

Essential for success in the Barista & Maitre'D roles is:

• Proven customer service experience preferably in a retail / hospitality environment;
• Must have a well groomed appearance 
• A positive and constructive attitude;
• Previous Barista experience min 3 years    
• Experience in food handling and making sandwiches desirable
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with a focus on developing genuine relationships with your colleagues and our guests.
• Enthusiastic, motivated self-starter;
• A desire to be a Brand ambassador in all areas of Gloria Jean's Coffee's including our food and cold beverage menu items;
• Must be available to work Morning, Afternoon and Night';
• Must be available to work Weekdays, Weeknights, and Weekends.
