Rydges Bathurst is a 131 Room 4  Star Hotel located right on the Iconic Bathurst Mount Panorama Race Track.  The Food & Beverage Department is very event driven, especially around our 4 Major Race Events offering four Conference Rooms & Roof Top Space, along with the amazing Chicane Bar & Grill Restaurant, In-Room Dining, Mini Bar & occasional Offsite Catering. 

As Food & Beverage Manager, you will be the driving force and an integral part of our Hotel’s Operations & Senior Management Team, where you will strive to be a passionate leader with strong organisational abilities and be able to lead a dedicated Team.  Your main responsibility will be a hands on approach & to oversee the everyday running of all the Food & Beverage Outlets to ensure we are delivering great customer experiences & achieving our financial goals.

You will be a positive, proactive individual with good communication skills. You will have management experience in a fast paced Hotel environment and maintain a professional attitude at all times.  You will be a team player with a strong focus on providing great customer service. 

YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Effective planning, prioritisation and decision making skills
  • Strong communication, people management and administrative skills
  • Strong creativity and ability to think outside the square
  • Coaching & development team skills to deliver consistent exceptional service
  • Management and leadership skills to motivate your team to enhance performance, achieve business goals, financial budget and service standards

MUST HAVE:

  • Solid experience in conferencing & events
  • Previous experience in a similar position in a 4-5 star hotel or signature venue
  • A true passion for food & beverage with sound wine knowledge & “on trend” offerings
  • Service excellence & a drive to exceed guest expectations  
  • Micros (POS) / Opera experience

SHOULD HAVE:

  • Drive and Resilience
  • Minimum 2 years as a Senior Supervisor or Manager
