Mona is a place that delivers events like no other. Working with many unique venues, we have a creative and flexible approach to delivering a bespoke experience for each client.
In preparation for the busy event season ahead, we're excited to be looking for a few experienced individuals to become part of the Functions Team. These casual roles will have has a customer service focus, providing quality service and delivering a world class guest experience. Our bespoke events mean that no two events are ever the same, so our Functions Attendants will need to possess a broad skill set and have the flexibility to move between table service and bar service as required.
The Gig:
- Assist in the delivery of bespoke events including functions, conferences and weddings
- Undertake general waiting duties and maintain service standards in all patron interactions
- Provide advice and recommendations to patrons where appropriate or seek support from supervisors to ensure accurate information is provided
- Provide bar service to patrons in accordance with RSA guidelines
- Maintain consistent standards of Function presentation, service, and image
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, logistics, the kitchen and other relevant business units where required
The You:
- Experience in a similar functions-related or hospitality environment
- A positive and engaging personality
- Well presented, articulate and capable of developing rapport with patrons
- A passion for customer service and delivery of a consistently high service
- High level communication skills with ability to collaborate and interact with people from all areas
- An appreciation of appropriate safe work practices and a demonstrated ability to maintain appropriate RSA standards in all patron interactions
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
- Passionate about food and beverage
