About the business

Little Humid is located on the Noosa river with views to the water even from your kitchen bench.

 A 70 seat a-la-carte contempory Australian cuisine restaurant.

Successfully running now for 14years as 1 of the top restaurants in Noosa.

Dedicated, passionate chef / owner.

Loyal local following, not relying on tourist trade.

Closed Mondays/Tuesdays. Set roster so can plan ahead.

 

About the role

We are seeking a chef capable and keen to work a busy cold larder section. This section covers all courses on the menu including all dessert mis en place. 

A very rewarding role as all meals are produced fresh to order, cooking dishes to order, plating of all dishes on larder so a lot to enjoy doing on this section.

Only open 5 days a week, therefore can always rely on your set days off.

Skills and experience

Must be a confident capable motivated chef. Able to plan busy mis en place days. Work unsupervised while making responsible and logical decisions for themselves.

Having experience prepping desserts is a bonus but not a must. But must be capable of easily picking up direction, and learning quickly.

Looking for a chef who is quick during service, consistant with prep and plating food, and enjoys the challenge of multi tasking and working in the kitchen environment.

Must have experience working in good quality restaurant, and understand importance of keeping a clean and tidy space as well as presentation.
