Pullman Melbourne on the Park are currently seeking a Work Health & Safety Coordinator to join their vibrant, friendly and dynamic team.

 

This is a unique opportunity to work across both the Human Resource and Engineering department. You will be responsible for providing quality and professional administrative support for the Human Resources team & Chief Engineer whilst assisting in the support/implementation of the Hotel policies, procedures and compliance obligations.

 

Tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following areas:

 

  • Schedule & Conduct monthly OHS meetings
  • Complete and monitor first aid orders in conjunction with the departments
  • Organise and implement Tool Box talks on a regular basis around OHS issues and requirements
  •  Organise and maintain compliance and safety training in accordance with laws and regulations
  • General Administration within HR & Engineering
  • Maintain training and compliance registers
  • Conduct risk analysis across the hotel
  • Receive completed safety and maintenance inspections & generate actions
  • Maintenance of filing system for inspections
  • Plan and organise safety & compliance training
  • Assist with the completion of internal & external audits
  • Contractor Compliance – including but not limited to inductions, collecting contractor information & liaising with current & new contractors
  • Maintain a logical and up-to-date filing system
  • Manage employee compliance
  • Assist Human Resources team with employee relations initiatives, administrate reward and recognition programs
  • Ensure up to date hazard lists are maintained for all departments
  • Maintain Workcover Register, Hazard Register, Incident Injury & Near Miss Register Documentation and follow up on all incidents, injuries and identified hazards
