Captain and Co Whitsundays Café located in the Proserpine Airport are seeking an experienced Café Assistant / Barista to join our team.
Candidates must be experienced in Café duties and food preparation.
You will be a team player, highly customer service focused and committed to ensuring our customers receive outstanding service with a smile.
Hours will be approximately 20+ per week and will include both weekday and weekend shifts.
Opening hours are generally between 6am - 7pm although hours can vary depending on flight departures/arrivals. If flights are delayed then the Café must remain open to service the passengers waiting in the terminal, so you must be flexible with hours.
Current Qld RSA is essential, RMLV & Food Safety Certificate are desirable.
Duties will include:
- Providing exceptional Customer Service
- Barista duties
- Sandwich and light food preparation
- Eftpos & cash handling
- Cleaning
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety and health and safety standards and ensure compliance
- Other duties as required
