After more than a century of operation, The Village Belle Hotel is now a modern, dynamic and diverse venue offering an array of drinking and dining options through our range of outlets: Garden Bar & Balcony, Public Bar, Doulton Lounge and Garden Restaurant.
We are seeking an experienced or aspiring Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Supervisor, to join our service team in the Garden Restaurant. We need a self-motivated individual wanting to make a mark in our industry, who will work in partnership with the current management and ownership group to maintain and continuously improve our standards within this outlet.
The role will be primarily responsible for quality and standards of our day to day floor operations - service benchmarks, sales and guest satisfaction. These responsibilities are inclusive of supervising a team to deliver high service standards and focussing on strong product knowledge throughout the outlet. Above all else you need to possess an ingrained service ethic and ability to lead by example on the floor.
Sound knowledge of modern food trends as well as, cellar and cocktail knowledge in a high volume outlet is a must. We are also looking for solid numeracy and literacy. Understanding that the working week will entail evenings, weekends and public holidays as they fall, is paramount, but above all else is the requirement to accept responsibility for your team and operate as a leader within the venue.
This opening would suit an emerging Hospitality management professional who is seeking to gain broader management experience.
