The Venue Manger will be confident working towards targets and KPI's, will have demonstrated knowledge in hospitality marketing as well as the ability to control the costs of operating a business; including staffing, income, stock control and percentages.
All hotel standards will be monitored and maintained by the Venue Manager including health and safety, customer care, personal presentation, security and housekeeping.
The Manager will research and develop promotional activity and identify and conduct relevant training to ensure above standard service is provided at all times.
Mature and positive written and verbal communication skills are required in all interactions with staff, suppliers and patrons.
A knowledge of relevant statutory and legislative requirments is an advantage and some accounting (MYOB) and POS (H&L) experience would be beneficial.
Candidates should have current RSA and Gaming Managers licence and a minimum of 2 years in a similar role. Availability for work across 7 days, including days , nights and public holidays is essential.
The Venue Manager will work with a team of 30+ staff and will be supported by key personnel as well as the business owners.
This position will commence in October 2018.
