We are looking for a talented Supervisor who prides on supporting a dedicated team in continually improving our operations and guest service levels.

Your focus will be to supervise the daily operations of our Food and Beverage department to ensure our guests enjoy a pleasurable dining experience whilst maximising revenue opportunities.

This role will suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual wishing to excel in the hospitality industry.

As Supervisor, your duties will include but not limited to:

• Ensuring professional and friendly service is provided to all guests
• Setting and maintaining high service standards
• Liaise with guests, Chef and Kitchen brigade on menu, guest feedback and service issues
• Achieve and uphold a clean, safe and hygienic work environment
• Ensure a product of high quality and presentation
• Maintain accuracy of all cash and credit transactions and complete daily balance activities as required
• Assist with training and maintaining staff product knowledge within the food and beverage department

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Proven food and beverage supervisory / management experience developed from within a similar 4-5 star hotel environment
• Sounds food & beverage operations knowledge, i.e. Restaurant, Bar, Room Service and Conference experience, including sound knowledge of Food & Wine
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with ownership and accountability for managing floor operations throughout a shift.
• Effective time management with the ability to plan, prioritize and delegate
• Demonstrated ability to lead and to motivate a team
• Strong cashiering and cash handling skills

The following are required for this role:

• Responsible Service of Alcohol Qualification and Approved Manager
• Provide a National Police name check
• Flexibility to work a 7 day a week rotating roster including nights, weekend and public holidays
• Full Australian work rights with no restrictions.
• Hospitality or hotel management qualifications will be an advantage
