An amazing opportunity has presented itself to join the team at one of Australia’s leading Event Management companies who are currently looking for a Travel Industry professional with outstanding airfare knowledge and experience dealing with large group travel.

The successful candidate will be confident working independently to ensure that their delegates enjoy a smooth, trouble free experience with everything flight related.


JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Organise flights for individuals travelling for large scale events, both domestic and international
• Assist delegates with any flight requests, time changes, adjustments
• Liaise with airlines to negotiate group rates for flights
• Prepare documentation for individuals flight details
• Ensure all flights are booked correctly and any special requests actioned accordingly


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• 4-5 years’ experience booking flights
• Exposure to group bookings highly desirable
• Knowledge of and experience working with EXCEL
• Ability to work independently in a fast based environment
• Team player who enjoys a friendly, social work culture
• Proficient in minimum of one GDS system (Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus etc)
• Strong airfare knowledge
• Great attitude and high customer service levels
