King River Brewing is a local, family-owned and independent producer of quality beer. Located in picturesque King Valley, a sweeping valley in Victoria's high country, home to Hop Farms, top-shelf wineries, a wonderful community and our brewery which produces award-winning beer.

Continual growth has provided an excellent opportunity for an energetic and organised Bar Manager to join our team and lead the bar. The right candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen desire to promote independent beer. The role will also include the organisation of events, functions and tastings. 

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Focus on customer experience

• Promote a fun and welcoming environment for our customers

• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance

• Rigorous cash handling procedures 

• Ability to dynamically manage staffing requirements based on service demand

• Manage/train staff to adhere to the expectations of the venue

• Ability to solve problems during busy service periods

• Maintain and create processes and procedures

• Understand and enjoy talking about our range of beers - and beer generally!

• Organise regular events, manage functions & host tastings.

Required Skills:

• Experience as a manager or similar role

• Current RSA

• Interest and experience in craft beer

• Available to work Saturday to Monday

Desirable:

• Completed your Cicerone Certified Beer Server (CBS)
