Cafe Chef - Immediate start
The kitchen is overseen by chef and owner Nathan Dunnell (former fine dining), with a strong focus on new innovative menu ideas, that sets new standards for quality brunch in Brisbane.
We are looking for a passionate Full Time Chef who is capable of working in a busy kitchen.
The roles and responsibilities of the chef are:
- managing the day to day running of the kitchen
- prepping and cooking (everything is made in house)
- ordering and understanding food cost and wastage control
- manage all aspects of food safety and hygiene regulations
The successful candidate must have the following attributes:
- experience of cooking in a restaurant or busy cafe
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- able to work in different sections and have a good understanding of kitchen operations
- ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- be a team player with a good attitude
- passionate, hardworking and reliable
