Sous Chef
Situated on the beautiful Surf Coast in Victoria, the Barwon Heads Hotel is part of 3 local hotels owned by the Taylor Group thus providing an opportunity to work across venues and kitchens. New owners have begun refurbishment and rebranding of an iconic costal venue and are entering new and exciting phases of growth.
We are seeking a full-time Sous chef who wants to work with a team committed to raising the bar; bringing quality food to locals and visitors alike.
Applicants must;
- Be committed with a hands on approach to a busy kitchen.
- Available to work across a 7 day roster both days and nights including holidays and peak seasons
- Be able to work quickly both apart of a team and independently
- Have exceptional food quality and food safety knowledge
- Be creative and innovative; leading modern hospitality trends
- The ability to work under pressure in high volume kitchen
- Be able to lead and organise a team with exceptional efficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a positive and self motivated attitude
This is a rare position with ongoing fulltime hours all year. Salary negotiable with applicants experience.
