About the Position
An excellent opportunity exists for experienced Cook. Based in Ballarat the facility has approximately 90 beds providing a variety of high and low aged care living. This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a real impact in your role. Vital to the success of our site, we are looking for candidates who have an excellent service and team attitude, are willing to pitch in and help where required and go above and beyond their core duties.
Through a multi-disciplinary approach, your responsibilities will include providing the highest levels of service in food preparation, hygiene, kitchen services and hospitality to our residents. Other key tasks related to this role are customer service, food handling, hygiene, and OH&S.
About You
The successful candidate requires a multi-skilled can do approach, who likes variety in their day to day work environment. You will be professionally presented, highly organised and self-motivated, someone who can manage their time, be flexible with their workloads and customer focused. You will have strong written and oral communication, possess a customer centric approach, and have advanced computer competency.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience within an Aged Care environment
- Trade Certificate in Cookery & Food Handlers Certificate III qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Smart Phone and Home Internet are desirable
