An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic an Event Coordinator to join the EPICURE South Australia team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the successful coordination of events within EPICURE venues and off-site catering opportunities as part of the EPICURE SA events team reporting to the Sales Manager. The Event Coordinator will coordinate events booked by the Sales team and then handover to the Operations team, ensuring client satisfaction.

About you:

Desirable but not essential:

  • A tertiary qualification in event management, marketing or equivalent
  • An understanding of Project Management principles and key stages
  • A current First Aid certificate
  • Experience in hotels, venue, general event coordination

About the role:

  • Ensuring all administrative tasks and relevant documents (Event Orders, invoices etc) are completed within required timeframes
  • Creating relevant event design and planning documentation (eg: Event Orders, floor plans etc)
  • Timely and accurate distribution of all event related information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicating and meeting with clients to determine their requirements and expectations to ensure the success of the event
  • Assisting in the planning, best-practice compliance, delivery (not operational) and analysis of client events
  • Liaising with external suppliers
  • Development of strong and ongoing client relationships to encourage repeat business bookings
  • Maintain thorough venue and product knowledge and an understanding of the EPICURE service standards and philosophies to ensure clear communication with clients
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Adelaide venue and events market and key competitors
