The Mayfair Hotel is Adelaide's leading boutique luxury hotel located right in the heart of the CBD. This beautiful heritage listed 5* hotel has outstanding dining outlets including the Mayflower Restaurant & Bar, rooftop bar – HENNESSY and versatile function space.
We are currently recruiting for experienced, Front of house Professionals to join the team at The Mayflower Restaurant. As a member of the front of house team you will be responsible for our guests' unforgettable dining experience.
We are very proud of our high standard of service & quality on offer, both in terms of food and presentation. We are looking for staff that will share our passion, be enthusiastic, work in a team and have "above and beyond "attitude.
We are a fun and friendly team who work together closely and are entirely flexible. It is not unusual to see Senior Management getting their hands dirty and helping out where ever the need arises.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE FROM YOU:
• Excellent English
• Exceptional knowledge of wines and spirits • 3+ year of previous experience in high end restaurants/hotels
• Energetic, confident and bubbly personality
• Good communication skills
• The talent for remembering and recognizing returning and prominent guests
• Organized, efficient and cool under pressure
• Charming and elegant with the ability to deliver impeccable customer service without being too familiar
• A genuine interest in the restaurant industry
• Great sales technique and know how to upsell
