MGSM Executive Hotel and Conference Centre are seeking a full time Night Auditor / Receptionist to join the team in a dual role performing both the night audit function and reception responsibilities at our North Ryde campus.
MGSM Executive Hotel and Conference Centre, operate an award-winning venue situated on the picturesque grounds of Macquarie University. The shared facility supports the operations of both University and Non-University business, and include an award-winning 4-star hotel, licensed bar and contemporary à la carte restaurant ‘Lachlan’s’, a café and multipurpose function rooms.
As this is a dual role, Night Auditor duties will see the successful candidate analyse, revise and post charges for the day. Finalising the financial/accounting day to prepare the hotel for the new day. Receptionist responsibilities include handling all guest enquiries to ensure their comfort levels are satisfied, supporting the Conferencing and Room Service Teams as needed. Including performing check-in & check-outs and maintaining security of the facility during the night.
Please note this position requires weekend work, including early morning and night work. 5 shifts per week 11pm-7am.
Essential Criteria
- Experience with property management system, preferably Opera
- Proven ability to work unsupervised
- Proven analytical skills with a high level of computer literacy
- Demonstrated problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of hotel operations, emergency procedures and WH&S is desirable
