The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced qualified Chef. The successful candidates will be responsible for producing a high level of Italian cuisine to compliment the award winning Restaurant.
Working holiday and 457 candidates are eligible to apply.
You will work within a young, motivated and highly dedicated team ensuring that the directives of the organization are executed.
The successful candidates must have the following attributes / experience.
- Assist in the production of daily specials and other menu items
- Ability to assist in all aspects of the preparation through to service
- Arrive on time and be neatly presented (In an open kitchen environment)
- Prepare, store and serve all dishes, sauces and garnishes in line with the quality and processes set by the head chef
- Regulate temperature and proper knowledge of full use of kitchen equipment
- Assist Senior Chefs in the day to day Kitchen operations
- Ensure a seamless guest experience through prompt and efficient food service
- Stock control
- Train new culinary team members in the systems and processes set by management
The successful candidates will possess:
- 2+ years' experience working in casual/ up market / fine dining, high volume environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery
- The drive to consistently deliver the very best.
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Ability to work a rotating roster with full availability including shifts ranging from lunch to late evenings and weekends is essential
457 VISA sponsorship available to the successful candidate.
Salary will be commensurate with experience
