Delmont Private Hospital is a leading provider of quality mental health services, with Inpatient Units, Day Programs, ECT Service, Outreach and specialist Consulting Suites.
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Food and Beverage Attendant with a HOSPITALITY BACKGROUND to join our industrious high volume kitchen which provides approximately 300 meals per day. You will be highly motivated, have great customer service skills and take pride in delivering the best possible service. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work, together with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from a variety of backgrounds is essential to succeed in this position.
This is a hands on physical role, duties includes but are not limited to:
- General kitchen duties
- Stock storage and rotation
- Basic food preparation
- Operating a commercial dishwasher
- Delivering and serving food
- Ensuring cleanliness of food service areas
- Compliance with the Food Safety Program
- Table service of beverages
- Set up, service and pack down of functions / events.
ESSENTIAL selection criteria:
- Previous hospitality experience
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Customer service focussed
- Understanding of Food Safety Program / Legislation and safe work practices
Ability to work in Environmental Services an advantage, additional shifts available.
