Are you a hospitality professional with team leadership experience?  Do you want to work in a fun, fast-paced environment where you can grow & be part of a family-owned business?

Tingalpa Hotel is currently looking for a motived Sous Chef to support their kitchen team.  If you have strong leadership skills, can drive a team, are passionate about food & have a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

With the guidance of the Head Chef, you will be responsible for the daily food operation of the whole venue including lunch, dinner & functions.  You will also be required to lead the team in the absence of the Head Chef.

The role is hands-on & you will need to be able to work under pressure & still present meals to the highest standard.  You will be looking to impress every customer every time no matter what time of the day or night they visit.

The suitable applicant will possess:

• Food Safety Supervisors Certification;
• Working knowledge of HACCAP regulations;
• Thorough understanding of food costs & how to maximise profitability from every plate;
• An understanding of WH&S legislation & is applicability to a kitchen environment;
• Experience in all facets of full-service hotel kitchen operations.
