About the role
- Enhance the customer experience by welcoming and building rapport with our residents when they enter The Eatery
- Maintaining the buffet display and servicing areas including the coffee machines, juice machines, gelato machines etc
- Assist our residents with special dietary needs or preferences when necessary
- Exceed the customers’ expectations by providing support with enquiries whenever required
- Liaise with the back of house team to understand requirements for the day and pass on feedback received
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role with the knowledge of food and beverage
- Must have unlimited work rights in Australia
- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 to 25 hours per week
- Flexible working availability to 7 day rotating roster with the mixture of closing and opening shifts from Monday to Sunday from 6:00am to 10:30pm (Hours may vary from week to week)
- Reliable, punctual with the ability to work independently when required
- Great presentation and communication skills
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
- Happy to have a varied role, that’s not limited to one section or task
- Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards
- Must have or willing to obtain a ‘Responsible Service of Alcohol’ (RSA) certification
