Black Star Pastry are looking for a motivated, energetic, experienced supervisor to join our CBD team. This is a fast paced environment where there is always something to do. This is a challenging but rewarding role for anyone who is looking to develop their career in management.
**Full time only & can work on the weekends - only 1 day of the weekend required to give a good work / life balance
You will possess the following:
At least 12months experience in a supervisory role
Good leadership :
- Have a positive can do attitude
- Leads by example from the front counter
- Can lead and motivate the team through the day to achieve their goal
- Can be trusted to make the best decisions for the business when the store manager is not there
- Is able to maintain good working relationships with staff & customers
Experiences in customer service and staff management :
- Excellent customer service skills, can turn a customer complaint into a positive outcome.
- An attitude that is dedicated to the experience of our customers
- Has had experience in training and developing staff
- Able to give constructive feedback to staff throughout each day
- Able to address quality issues effectively
- Can "cash up" at the beginning and end of day accurately and honestly
- Maintain a safe workplace and be familiar with WHS & industrial relations
- Be familiar with food safety regulations.
- Background experienced in Barista & floor work
