The Sofitel Brisbane is centrally located within the heart of Brisbane city. 433 elegantly appointed rooms and suites are complemented by the finest personal luxuries to make this one of Brisbane’s best accommodation experiences. The hotel features three restaurants, two bars, two fitness centres, Day Spa, and Brisbane’s Premier executive lounge and eleven meeting rooms for up to 1100 delegates.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Part Time Cocktail Lounge Attendant to offer represent our professional service philosophy. 


Key duties of this role include:

  • Explain the menu & drinks list to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide knowledge when recommending beverages.
  • Mix and serve drinks and food items to tables.
  • Maximise sales opportunities by upselling items
  • Ensure accuracy whilst ordering and delivering food and beverage orders & use Micros to place orders.
  • Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy.
  • Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
  • Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practises.

 As a successful candidate you will have:

  • Previous Cocktail/Bar experience, with good wine knowledge, mixology and barista expertise.
  • A friendly, guest focused attitude with passion for providing exceptional and memorable moments.
  • Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients and able to build rapport quickly and effectively.
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation.
  • Must hold your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.

Further to this experience, to be successful in this role, you will have unlimited work rights in Australia and will be available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends as per our business demands. You have a passion for the Hospitality Industry and are committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
