Altitude1148 Restaurant located in the “Southern Gateway Centre” at Bulli Tops, is searching for a talented well organised Chef to help out on a Fulltime basis.
We would be willing to take on a Cook or kitchenhand that has a minimum 3yrs experience in the preparation and service of food, so welcome anyone fitting this criterion to also apply.
This position requires the successful candidate to work 38 hours per week minimum, on a set roster, with a salary to be discussed that is dependent on experience.
Please be aware that working on weekends is essential for this position, so please do not apply if this does not suit your personal circumstances.
Your own car is essential as there is no public transport available and on the weekly working roster of days and nights, prepping and servicing for the Cafe, Restaurant and Functions such as weddings, will be the normal routine if you are successful.
We are not going to talk of the set standards that we are looking for, but as an organised professional, you know the work criteria needed to perform in any kitchen and as such we will look after anyone who gets on with it and works with our team to achieve the same end result.
To add to this offered position, our restaurant specializes in Indian Cuisine and as such is a chance for you to learn the traditional methods used in the development of dishes such as Korma’s, Marsala's and Butter Chicken etc. These techniques will add additional skill to your resume and is something you will use all throughout your career.
