Penrith Panthers are currently looking for an energetic cook and customer service professional to work in our busy food outlet ‘The Diner’. Working in a fast paced team environment, you will have the ability to work efficiently and pro-actively with well-developed and enthusiastic customer service.

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

• Providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests;
• Food preparation, presentation and service;
• Cooking a variety of fast food meals including burgers, wraps and sides;
• Processing transactions through the register and cash handling;
• Carrying out FIFO stock control and; general cleaning duties and completing daily cleaning checklists to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace to ensure efficient, clean and safe working environment.

   

  To be successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a cooking role;
• An energetic and enthusiastic approach to your work;
• Great customer service skills;
• Ability to work autonomously and multi-task;
• Great written and verbal communication skills;
• High attention to detail;
• A Food Safety Certificate will be highly regarded;
• RSA and RCG certificates;
• Ability to work under pressure and problem solve.

You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to customer service and the ability to work in a team as well as autonomously. You are required to be flexible and reliable as you will need to be available to work Friday, Saturday and Sundays, as well as public holidays and school holidays to work as required.
