Panama Dining is celebrating its tenth anniversary on Smith St. Fitzroy, with its architectural arched windows looking over Smith St. It's an amazing light-filled space that has both a cocktail bar and a restaurant on the same level.
We are a small but highly professional team that loves this industry; we highly encourage you to have fun at work. Panama has become one of Melbourne's premium restaurants and event spaces, focusing on Weddings, in addition to high-end corporate events, hosting approximately 60 events per year.
The Role:
- Running the events from start to finish and ensuring fantastic service is given to the clients.
- Meeting and greeting the guests, and delivering on all their expectations.
- Being across any dietary requirements or special requests.
- Ensuring the processes and protocols set by the restaurant are followed.
- Working closely with the Restaurant and Bar Manager to ensure the event runs smoothly on the night.
You are:
- An experienced Events and Functions Manager.
- Well versed in functions and weddings and understand the different types of events and their requirements.
- You will have exceptional influencing and communication skills with the ability to quickly develop a rapport with our clientele.
- Able to deliver the clients' requests.
- Meticulous attention to detail and planning, and someone who can think outside the box.
- Knowledgeable in the Dimmi booking system.
- Happy to work with a fantastic team, and providing some of the best services in Melbourne.
- Adaptable and flexible to work in the restaurant when the functions are not busy.
- In possession of a valid VIC RSA.
