Hungry Feel Eating House is an established licensed restaurant/cafe in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast with an emphasis on using the freshest of seasonal produce. Our chefs meet with local farmers and artisans on a weekly basis. Our kitchen garden supplies much of our vegetables and herbs. Menus are designed seasonally to take advantage of local produce.
We are seeking a full time Sous Chef who will develop into a Head chef role. This position is ideal for someone looking to enhance their skills and move into a leadership role.
The successful applicant will have proven skills in other professional kitchens, good work ethic, excellent organisational skills and love cooking.
Other duties required include stock control, menu design and team leadership.
You will work within a mature professional team who are passionate about good food and fine service. 2 days + 3 night shifts with Sunday and Monday off enable a happy work/life balance. All meals are included as well as lots of good coffee.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a successful operator to grow the regional identity of the Sunshine Coast.
